Hi there,
I am hoping to connect with someone to talk about our charity in Calgary, and inquire as to how we share to be nominated as a part of the 100 women who care.
My name is Kristein Johnson, and I work as the Fund Development Manager for Shelter Movers in Alberta.
Shelter Movers is dedicated to combating Gender-based Violence, through FREE moving and storage services. We are thrilled to announce the establishment of our new chapters in Alberta, aimed at ensuring safe relocations for individuals and children escaping violence. This initiative holds tremendous promise in significantly impacting their lives for the better.
Your valuable insights and assistance in navigating the funding application process would be highly appreciated. I would be grateful for any advice or direction you might offer to aid us in securing the necessary resources to further our mission.
I plan to be in Calgary on Thursday, and other than a meeting between 12-3pm, I would be thrilled to buy someone coffee and discuss this opportunity further anytime.
Thank you for your time and consideration to meet.
Looking forward to your kind response and the possibility of collaborating to make a meaningful impact.
Hi Kristein, thanks for getting in touch! We get this question a lot, so there’s a page on our website to answer it: https://100womencalgary.com/charities/. You are very welcome to attend any of our meetings as a guest to see what it’s all about. If you have more questions, the best way to reach us is via email to info@100womencalgary.com. Best regards, Alison
